Details

On this circular route of approximately 20 km, we combine fjord and sea views, charming fishing villages, open landscapes, and historical gems.
We start at Hundested Station and head towards Lynæs, where the view over the Isefjord quickly reminds us why nature is the perfect place to slow down. From there, we follow the fjord through the beautiful landscape surrounding Grønnessegaard before continuing towards Tømmerup and out to the open coast of the Kattegat.

One of the highlights of the hike is the idyllic fishing village of Kikhavn, where old thatched-roof houses, narrow paths, and blooming gardens exude history and charm. We also stop by Knud Rasmussen’s House, beautifully situated with a view of the sea—a place where nature and storytelling go hand in hand.

There are public restrooms at several points along the route, allowing us to enjoy the day at a relaxed pace.
We conclude the hike at the charming Hundested Harbor, where you are welcome to linger if you wish. Perhaps a nice dinner overlooking the harbor appeals to you—or a well-deserved ice cream from "Vaffelhjørnet" before heading home.
