Superheroes and Super Colors

Religious education for children at Emerson:

Young Superheroes (ages 4 and 5) Superheroes don't have to be BIG to make a difference. We'll find out how UU values can give us SUPER POWERS!

Explorers (grades 1-5) Color Symbolism in Religious Cultures We will revisit blue, green and red and those colors’ roles in global religious cultures and see how the sight and even the smell of colors can have different meanings to different people. A smell-and-tell segment guided by The Smell of a Rainbow by Dawn Goldworm and an engaging interactive game to finish.

Children ages 4 through 5th grade accompany their parents to the beginning of the service and then follow their teacher to their class when directed. Childcare for younger children is available.
