Christian Religion in Texas Public Schools

Thanks to a 2024 Texas law, all public schools must display a durable poster or framed copy of the Ten Commandments in each classroom. In 2026, the Texas State Board of Education approved a required reading list that includes Bible passages from the Old and New Testaments. A roll-out will begin in elementary schools in 2030. With regard to religion in public schools, what was your experience? Or that of family members or friends of a younger generation? And currently?
