### Purpose of the Meetup
The purpose of this meetup is to create motivation through consistency and leading by example. By openly reviewing my own finances each month, I want to show that personal finance does not need to be perfect or complicated — it simply needs regular attention.
My aim is to make the process practical, transparent, and repeatable, while encouraging others to reflect on their own financial situation in whatever way feels appropriate for them. The group discussion is there to exchange perspectives, learn from each other, and help maintain momentum from month to month.
The idea is simple: lead by example, share what I’ve learned, and create space for an open discussion about personal finance.
This is not financial advice and there is no expectation for anyone else to share their own financial information. Participants are welcome to ask questions, share their perspective, discuss ideas, or simply listen.
## Money Check-In
A 90-minute monthly personal finance review and group discussion.
Each month, I’ll review my own personal finances from the previous month using real data, including areas such as income, spending, savings, progress, and anything that changed.
The idea is simple: lead by example, share what I’ve learned, and create space for an open discussion about personal finance.

### Format
2:15pm - Door open
2:30pm - Pre-review discussion
3:00pm - 30min review of my monthly financial report (with online audience).
3:30pm - 30min post-review discussion
### Private Event
Because I will be sharing personal financial information, attendance is limited.
This event is for people I, Emil Eagle, have personally spoken with, or people who have requested a short online introduction meeting with me and have been approved to attend.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy of anything personal shared during the session and agree to a simple informal confidentiality agreement.
