Emotion AI launches in NYC!

We are a community forum dedicated to exploring the cutting-edge intersection of artificial intelligence & emotional intelligence: emotion, feeling, AI, technology, neuroscience & psychology, the arts, mental health, education, & healing modalities from tech & non-tech perspectives.

By listening & sharing across disciplines, we aim to advance our collective understanding of emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence; to collaborate on a more human, empathetic, & aligned future in our society and our technology; and to build healthy & ethical emotion AI that perceives, processes, and generates emotional experience.

ABOUT THE EVENT

We will do a mix of talks and/or expert panel, audience Q&A, and connection games to explore emotional intelligence, in order to be inspired by and embody our learnings!

A hit meetup in SF, this first NYC offering will include speakers or panelists within and outside of technology: researchers and practitioners in AI, tech, and other professional disciplines that work with emotion & emotional intelligence.

Together we'll learn about the state of the art of emotion in AI, as well as the state of the art of a non-technological emotion- or emotional intelligence-related modality. Plus we'll do some lightly guided connection games to get to know each other!

Hosted by Jared Scheib, founder, software engineer, and film & theater director, who helped build & release the Gradient AI platform while at Paperspace, an NYC VC-backed startup, and whose directorial work has shown Off Broadway and at festivals, museums, and venues around the world.

Refreshments will not be provided. Please BYO water and eat beforehand.
