My journey (see below) led me to learn many skills, including emotional intelligence, mindfulness, other types of meditation, vulnerability, open sharing, journaling, movement, spirituality, organisation and time management, decision making, connecting with intuition (the heart, inner wisdom, higher self), listening and honouring my needs, especially in terms of my body. What are my red flags, signs of potential burnouts and how to slow down before they happen again - oh yes, I also had a few burnouts =).Balancing rest and action. Overcoming procrastination (trust me, I totally nailed procrastination back then HAHAHA). Learning to build a schedule that supports me, allowing for leisure and fun, and still getting things done, while having the flexibility to reschedule, cancel, and improvise. Learning what empowers me and what depletes me. Changed careers, learned how to trust (in myself and in Life, Nature, the Universe), and how to set boundaries and express my 'no(s)'.
If you resonate with any of this, it would be a gift and an honour to help on your journey.
Why work with me?
Maybe you resonated with one of my videos online, or someone you trust spread the word, or you simply landed on this page. In case, here are things you probably don't know about me.
People who know me often share what they feel from me, which is a grounding, balanced, calm, and gentle energy. I learned to receive those comments, and I am aware that, in general, that is the case. Which is definitely different from saying I'm like this every time.
But the most important thing is that it wasn't like that until a few years ago. Most of my life, I was living in fear, insecurity, avoiding risks, change, and novelty. I was hiding in the digital world most of my free time, mainly playing video games. This took me on a journey to my first depression and (chronic) stress - that's also when my hair started to fall, I was 17.
Because of this fear dominating my life, I didn't know what I wanted to do - also in terms of career -, what I liked or didn't like, and it would prevent me from going out and experiment. Making choices was horrible as I was frozen by the possibility of making the wrong decision. I used to be a master procrastinator, as I would believe the narratives that I would fail or that I wasn't good enough.
At uni, anxiety became more frequent, getting worse towards the end, which was a period of chronic anxiety, stress, and worry, impacting other aspects of my life, including my relationship and self-esteem.
Later on, another life crisis came as I was not living a life that connected with my essence, I had panic attacks (a decent amount over the years) and another round of chronic anxiety, more depression, moments of hopelessness, a lot of crying, and disbelief. And as people who go through this, I couldn't contemplate a scenario where things would be different, where my life would be something that I really enjoyed.I had no idea I could feel at peace and at ease, and that I would be offering what I have been offering over the last few years.
I'm grateful for it all, as it brought me the way to assist others going through life crises, disconnection with their bodies, change, distractions, unsupportive habits, limiting beliefs, overthinking, lack of resilience and resources to deal with life's ups and downs, and for those who are living a life aligned with its values and simply want to dive deeper, be curious, explore, and expand their horizons.
