What we’re about
Are you ready to cultivate and hold connection and intimacy? We are about playing and learning communication, creating intimacy, connecting in an honest way, sharing humanity, expressing vulnerability in a safe and healthy setting.
We use Circling, Relatefulness, Authentic Relating and other practices as tools for developing emotional intelligence. Come laugh, share, explore and relate with us. Sober events only.
The most basic human longing is to meaningfully connect. Whether it means connecting intimately to a loved one, empathizing with a stranger or even connecting more fully and presently to yourself and your life.
And yet, sometimes it can be frustrating to find or build the connection we want. Maybe you experience this as a sense of isolation and loneliness, or maybe you notice it in the impossible conflicts that recur with a partner, or maybe you feel it in a sense of alienation and purposelessness in your life.
Relatefulness is not an answer to the problem of how to connect, but it is the laboratory where you find the space and resources to answer the question yourself.
During this daylong immersion we will be introducing simple, straightforward practices that build greater awareness, empathy, curiosity and relational creativity.
We’ll be exploring how to be more curious about our own experience, how to see the world through another’s eyes, how to name stories and projections as they arise, and ultimately how you choose to build a life of meaningful connection.

A weekly session to practice relational skills through Relatefulness.
Relatefulness is a form of relational practice. This means that we will be working with others in the group for the duration of the session. As such, it is recommended that you have your camera on during the practice. If there is a particular issue with this, please reach out and we can make arrangements.
We also lock the session after about 5 minutes after the starting time, so make sure you're on time if you'd like to participate.
The session runs for an hour and a half. The first hour will be breakout groups where we play relational games. We usually play about 3 games in that time, and they are usually one-on-one.
For the last 30 minutes we do a focus session. This is an opportunity for one member of the session to receive the attention of the entire group, and for us to put all of our relational skills together. This is the core of the Relatefulness session, a chance to experience directly what it means to be connected to another human being.

For those looking for an alternative to the emptiness of social media, unsatisfying relationships and political polarization.
Relatefulness is the practice of mindfulness in relationship. Born out of the wider movement of Circling and Authentic Relating, Relatefulness is a relational practice that emerged from the Circle Anywhere community.
A night to savor the experience of authentic connection, belonging and growth, and to learn new skills of understanding, expression and connection.
Please arrive early so we can begin on time!! I recommend planning on arriving 10 minutes early so you have time to settle into the space.
Perfect for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike. The night will include a chance to meet others and make discoveries through a series of relational games.

I recommend bringing a water bottle and any snacks you'd like to fuel yourself.
Session fee is $20.
