Empathy Walk for Dads, Papas, Babas, on Tempelhofer Feld

Details

Empathy Walks are very simple. See below...

This one is for dads, papas, babas, what-have-you. Hosted by Dylan, papa of an 11-month old baby. This will be a regular empathy walk, but will give the chance for dads to connect with one another. New dads, soon-to-be dads, dads with experience: lets meet up for a walk! Babies welcome.

How these walks work:

We meet, set intention, and guidelines to ensure it is a safe space, conducive to connection.

After the intro, we get into pairs to walk and talk. Each pair takes their own space, but we walk together, as a kind of spaced out herd.

In pairs, we take turns talking and listening with empathy.

The guidelines:

We practice empathic listening. We do not offer advice. And we mirror back what was heard. Then we switch roles and repeat the process.

We will meet just inside Anita Berber Park, coming from Hermannstraße, inside the entrance next to the Leinestraße U8 station.

If you get something out of the experience, we suggest you give a 5 euro donation. If you're broke, no pressure to give.
