Empowered Hands Outreach: Feeding the Homeless**
What’s the group goal?
Our goal is to bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to those experiencing homelessness. We want to remind each person that they matter, that they are not forgotten, and that love and compassion can be a powerful source of empowerment.
Who are you hoping to meet?
We aim to meet and connect with individuals in our community who are currently homeless or in need. We also hope to bring together volunteers who have a genuine desire to serve with kindness, patience, and love.
What will you do at your events?
We will meet at 9:00 Am to prep meals together as a group. At 10:00 AM, we’ll head out to distribute food, encouragement, and support. A van with seating for up to 9 passengers will be available for those who would like to ride along. You may also follow in your own vehicle. Our time together will be centered around feeding both the body and the spirit. Offering not only food but also words of encouragement, prayer if welcomed, and the reassurance that they are valued and seen.
