Women's Collective Movement Meetup
Details
Where: Alki Beach Park, Seattle (meet in front of El Chupacabra) and we'll be working out on the sand!
After: We’ll head over to El Chupacabra for lunch, followed by a 45-minute group movement session
Join us for a supportive, informal group movement session designed to uplift and empower Black women, women of color, and women-identifying folks. This meetup is peer-led—there is no certified instructor—and we move together at our own pace in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Our gathering focuses on more than just movement; it’s a chance to connect deeply with other women, forge new friendships, and rediscover joy through shared motion. Whether you prefer stretching, flowing, or bodyweight exercises, this space is about feeling vibrant, supported, and empowered.
Weather and Preparedness:
November at Alki Beach can be cool and breezy, so please dress in layers to stay comfortable. Bring a jacket, hat, gloves, and wear shoes suitable for grassy or sandy surfaces. Feel free to bring a water bottle and a yoga mat or towel for ground exercises. We recommend monitoring the weather forecast closer to the date for updates or changes.
Duration:
The workout will last approximately 45 minutes immediately following lunch.
Disclaimer:
This event is not a certified fitness class or personal training session. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Please listen to your body and modify movements as needed. The organizers and facilitators assume no liability for injury or health issues related to participation
