Alex Hoffman is the founder of Stateside Solar Energy and the organizer of the Empower Iowa Energy Network. With over a decade of experience in the solar industry, Alex has worked across residential, commercial, agricultural, and utility-scale solar projects. His career spans from hands-on fieldwork to leadership roles in sales, engineering, and land acquisition.
Through Empower Iowa Energy Network, Alex aims to create a collaborative community for energy professionals, homeowners, and business owners in Iowa. The network focuses on energy-efficient home remodeling, renewable energy systems, and business energy projects, offering educational series both online and in-person. The group covers not only renewable energy but also all sources of energy in Iowa and across the USA, providing a comprehensive view of the evolving energy landscape. Alex is passionate about connecting individuals with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about energy solutions, helping Iowans transition to more sustainable and energy-efficient lifestyles.
