Luminata - A Parade of Lanterns (Around Greenlake)

Come walk in a lighted lantern parade, and meet new people! They have painting workshops for your lantern (FREE - This group is participating on September 13th, but there are many other workshops open) or you can purchase your lantern directly at the parade.

You can just enjoy the lights and atmosphere, or decide that this marks the celebration of both the ending of a chapter and the start of the new one - just something fun to think about! The fall equinox is about celebrating the harvest of what you've been creating, as well as turning your focus on what you want to create next. (If you're interested in starting the new season with intention, come join us at the Harvest Dinner, held on the actual equinox - September 22nd).

Speaking of celebrating a new season and new people:
Want to get something to eat or drink before the parade? Let's try Bongos at 6pm! I plan on meeting up before the opening ceremony and grabbing a festive beer and appetizer, and that place is nearby and seems to have a great patio. Everyone is welcome!! (Please RSVP - otherwise I won't update any location changes.)

If you want to skip the restaurant, feel free to just join later and walk the parade with us. We'll be at the Greenlake Aqua Theatre at 7pm (though I'd plan on trying to arrive early for parking).
