FREE! Make-A-Lantern Workshop for the Luminata (Equinox) Parade

Details

Come to be meet people, be crafty, or just to support the creative arts of our community (though this event is free, when people purchase lanterns at the parade they are supporting this wonderful organization).

This is so fun, and I have really enjoyed participating in arts programs here! **FREE! — "**with the friendly request that for every lantern you make to take home for yourself, you make two additional lanterns that can be sold at Luminata to support this community event."

This Thursday is actually the evening of the Equinox, and there are plenty of opportunities to express your creative energy and join with community. These craft events are in celebration of the Equinox and culminating this Saturday in a lantern parade around Greenlake (held Saturday, September 24th).

The equinox is a powerful time to look towards what you want to create next. What are you grateful for, and what are you building? (If you’re inspired to share, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to celebrate the equinox with intention!)

Everyone is welcome to walk in the lantern parade with our group, regardless of if you have created a lantern. There are many ways to participate, connect, and enjoy.

Please feel free to check out further information about the parade here: https://fremontartscouncil.org/luminata.
