Loneliness can hit anyone, but a simple chat can change everything.
We run a regular, friendly table at The Walton Village pub on the 1st Monday of each month from 7pm.
🪑 WHAT IS EMPTY CHAIRS?
It is a beautifully simple idea. We book a table, leave a few chairs empty, and make it easy for anyone to pull up a seat and join us for a casual chat. It isn’t a club, a rigid networking event, or a therapy session. It’s just an open invitation to connect with your community.
📍 Where: The Walton Village pub, 29 High Street, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey UK, KT12 1DG
📆 When: 1st Monday of every month, 7pm – 9pm
👨👩👧👦 Who: Anyone aged 18 to 80+ who wants a reason to leave the house.
❓ How: No sign-ups needed. Just turn up and look for Richard in the bright orange t-shirt!
The Walton Village is an incredible, inclusive, and dog-friendly community hub (with excellent air-con to keep things chilled). There is zero pressure to buy a drink or stay longer than you want to. Come for five minutes or stay for an hour.
