What we'll do

This ride is designed to assist new/beginner Adventure riders to gain much needed experience of riding on a variety of surfaces, including tarmac, dirt, clay, Cow pats... lol, gravel and river rocks, and to negotiate multiple river crossings etc.
None of the roads on this ride require any great level of experience, as I myself have only ridden "off road" twice this century... OMG I'm old!
So if you would like to have a great day out with us, and take in the scenery, maybe learn some new skills along the way, please join us.

***ALL participants please read and understand this complete page.***

I would advise that you have an "Adventure style" bike with "off road" type tyres to comfortably navigate this ride.

Approx 70-80% dirt and total distance approx 180klm

The ride will be at a relaxed pace, and we will regroup often, including some photo opportunity stops, as per the photo above that I took near Lake Moogerah, and also some within the Condamine Gorge.

We will be traversing many back roads including wrapping around both lake Maroon and Lake Moogerah and traveling via: Cannon Creek Rd, Carney's Creek Rd, White Swamp Rd, Trough Creek Rd, Acacia Plateau Rd, Condamine River Rd including all 13 river crossings, Spring creek Rd, Croftby Rd and Mt Alford Rd.

We will stop for lunch in Killarney at the pub... fuel is available at both ends of town if needed.
