HackerNest Melbourne November Tech Social

What we'll do

Drinks on us!

HackerNest Tech Socials (http://hackernest.com/cities/) are a fun, relaxed way to connect with your local tech community. Atmosphere: chill, friendly, unpretentious, agenda-free (no sales pitch, yo), and brimming with UltraSmart(TM) people.

We believe that strong, supportive tech communities should exist everywhere - not just in hotspots like San Francisco and New York. In 2011, we started running Tech Socials in Toronto (http://meetup.com/hackernest), where our monthly attendance grew to over 350+ technologists literally 100% from word-of-mouth.

Follow us on Twitter (http://srn.kr/HNtweets) and Instagram (http://hckrn.st/1WT3Xoh), like us on Facebook (http://srn.kr/HNTOfb), hi-5 us in person. :)

The typical Tech Social schedule:

- 6:00pm: folks arrive, grab drinks, socialize
- 7:00pm: quick intro, thank sponsors, quick announcements
- 7:10pm: back to chatting with interesting new friends
- 8:00pm: go home exhausted from great conversations

Venue: Dimension5 (http://www.dimension5hub.com.au)

Dimension⁵ is a new, creative co-working space that promotes ‘positive human collisions’, sparks innovation and entrepreneurship across technology, start-ups, business and social enterprises.
