  1. The State of Masonry
    Benjamin Humphrey

It’s 2019 and masonry layouts are still the achilles heel of CSS. This talk walks through how you think you could do masonry and explains why every native CSS approach doesn’t work, before sharing a new specification that could be the holy grail of simple and fast CSS masonry layouts.

Benjamin Humphrey is a kiwi designer and frontend developer, former lead designer at Atlassian, and the founder of a startup called Dovetail.

  1. Approaching app like page transitions
    Michael Le

This talk is about how we can use CSS and JavaScript to create a similar experience as a native mobile for navigating between pages. Michael is going to break down one of these transitions in a ways so that designers and developers can speak the same language throughout the process.

Michael is a developer turned product designer who has worked in New York, London, and now calls Sydney home. Currently he is focused on helping customers in the hospitality industry do more with less by leading UX design and frontend development at Kounta.
