Georgios is a technology enthusiast and software developer. Before joining the dark side of venture capital Georgios filled a number of positions in technology starting from computer repairs to coding to software engineering up to designing software architecture. Still as a student he applied his bachelor thesis into a startup pursuing data feed transformation and failed. At the same time he organized a series of tech founder meetups forming a common ground for the entrepreneurial and technology communities in Thessaloniki in northern Greece.

In 2009 he co-founded and became a partner in Openfund one of the first early-stage technology funds in Greece which has since made 29 investments.

At Big Pi he focuses on technology due diligence and business development of portfolio companies.

He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
