Why practice both Passive and Dynamic Meditation?
Dynamic Meditation is a guided meditation, where we go into a meditative state (the alpha level) and actively engage the mind through certain exercises for well-being, better health, enhanced immune system, de-stress and to practice the feeling of deep relaxation both mentally and physically. We will do this first each week to train the mind and body to relax and get into meditation.
In the second half of the class we will practice Passive Mediation or mental silence as they call it, which is the basis of good health and well-being. It is the personal experience of going beyond your thoughts, worries and stresses and being in a state of serenity and peace.
In meditation, you are fully alert and aware but free of unnecessary thoughts. With continuous practice and persistence, this can be achieved. This state of peace and calm occurs naturally when you learn how to focus on the experience of the present moment.
Our classes are designed to help you achieve total oneness with yourself and your Infinite power. With practice, meditation will empower you to handle life in a calmer manner with minimal chaos and turmoil.
Meditation classes are suitable for both complete beginners and regular meditators.
Class is open to Adults and Children (15 yrs and over)
Chairs are provided. No physical exercises, postures or special clothing is required.
If you would like to sit on the floor, please bring your own cushion.
Class duration is 60 minutes.
Every second week Wednesday morning 8-9am ( click on the link for morning class) or
every alternate evening on Wednesday 5.30 to 6.30 pm
