📍 Meet us at the entrance of the museum. If lost, comment below or message one of the hosts.
⏰ Please arrive by 3:20pm. We will wait until 3:30pm before we all go inside. We'll finish around 5pm but you are welcome to stay longer and enjoy the immersive night projection starting at 5:30pm (more info below).
☺️ Adults-only. No children for this event, sorry.
🇨🇳 About this exhibition: Ancient China gave rise to some of the world’s greatest cultural and scientific achievements as well as some of the most powerful imperial dynasties – one of which changed the face of China forever. Relics unearthed in the ancient tombs of Shaanxi Province, including an army of terracotta warriors, tell the story of an ancient and enduring culture. Across seven distinct areas, you’ll journey through the life, legacy and afterlife of China’s first emperor, Qin Shihuang – from ancient daily life to the monumental tomb built to secure his rule in eternity.
🔆 Afterwards, we can check out the Illuminate: Terracotta Warriors.
"Journey into the past as the Terracotta Warriors come to life in this immersive night projection at WA Museum Boola Bardip."
🔆 Watch ancient China unfold across the Old Gaol facade, starting with a close-up of a warrior’s paint peeling away, before transitioning into dynamic 3D scenes of daily life from the Qin and Han Dynasties. Powered by VJZoo, this projection merges cultural authenticity with cutting-edge AI technology, bringing history to life in a way you’ve never seen before.
