It's that time again guys, you know it, you love it.
For new beernerds this is a stalwart of our beer drinking calendar. It's a tonne of fun with loads of beers, food and entertainment. It is a bit exposed smack bang in peak summer. Bring a hat, water/bottle and sunscreen. Seriously.
On that note, I just want to be explicit. I will get there before the start and join the queue early. With the help of those showing up early I will claim a sitting area with shade. Under no circumstances (ok, maybe if the police ask) is this area to be surrendered to another group. We need to work together to keep our shade. By about 4pm it will be so damned hot that the lack of shade can just about ruin the event.
