Who wants to lead some trad at Mt Arapiles? It's me, I do.
The plan is to drive down Friday night, climb some cool stuff Saturday and Sunday, and drive back Sunday afternoon/evening. You know the drill.
I'm fresh out of the latest lead course so I'll be looking to practice my new skills on easy terrain and if I'm feeling confident try my first multi-pitch.
Please organise your own camping gear and climbing gear. All the standard things.
You do need to be a trained trad leader to come on this trip.
See you all there!

Equipment / What you need to bring;
If you need camping/cooking/sleeping equipment for overnight trips, the gear-room at the RMIT Outdoor Club has everything you might need as well (https://roc.org.au/how-we-work/how-to-hire-gear/). As a bonus, membership also includes access to discounts at climbing gyms, gear and other bonus goodies! (roc.org.au has more details!)
Please read the description above for specifics on equipment required - as a minimum, the climbing gear needed for outdoor trips includes a harness, climbing helmet and climbing shoes
