What we’re about
(PLEASE POST AN IDENTIFIABLE PHOTO OF YOURSELF)
After successfully launching "NYC Active Asians Americans" group 3 weeks ago, I felt compelling to create a similar, but broadly based group. Hence, this group gets founded.
This group is aimed to provide a flatform to create active sport events for active fit young singles, mostly FREE or at a bargain group rate price. This group is for young single professionals to enjoy active, and adventurous activties in group setting and make friends in the process. The group has age range from 20s to 30s to keep this group active and strong. Exceptions will be given to those who can demonstrate some extraordinary athletic abilities.
The main activies include:
adventures, outdoor and sport activities, skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, alpine skiing, downhill skiing, figure skating, ice dancing, roller-blading/skating, badminton, table tennis (ping pong), archery, tennis, volleyball, swimming, biking, hiking, zip-Line, adventure courses, paintball, kayaking, bowling, fitness, gym, golf, fencing, whitewater rafting, camping, rock-climbing, sports and recreation, and more ...
Some more adventurous events to try:
sky-diving, scuba-diving, wave surfing, wind surfing, paragliding, parasailing, horse-back riding & etc. (will update this) ...
We will try to complement these events with breakfasts/lunches/dinners when possible. Hey, we all need energy to be active, right?
Occasionally, we can join some laid back events like museums, movies, concerts, clubings, karaoke, and travels etc so we can enjoy other aspects of life too.
So, all active singles, let's keep an active and healthy life style. Join this group and let's create fun active sporting events, and enjoy the life to its fullness together!!!
P.S. If you have ideas, discount info or tips, please post your ideas and vote for others' ideas.
Let's ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski ......

- New Date: May 31st $39 Hike Dover Stone Church & Walkway Hudson w TransportDover Stone Church, Dover Plains, NY
HIKE DOVER STONE CHURCH (NY STATE NATURE WONDER)
A nature preserve whose highlight is a stunning rock formation and waterfall in a cave. It was used by Native Americans as a hideout in the 17th century, and then for weddings in the 19th century. Dover Stone Church's highlight is a metamorphic rock cavern in the shape of a church’s cathedral window with a cascading waterfall through the cave’s interior. The Stone Church Brook, a tributary of the Ten Mile River, flows through and out the cavern entrance. The entrance is located off Route 22 below the traffic light in Dover Plains. Head out on this 3.5-mile loop trail near Dover Plains, New York. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 37 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas. Check out the trail: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-york/dover-stone-churchVISIT WALKWAY OVER THE HUDSON (THE WORLD LONGEST PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE)
Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park is the World's Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge, spanning the Hudson River between Poughkeepsie and Highland, New York in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Originally opened in 1889 as the Poughkeepsie-Highland Railroad Bridge, the Walkway was a thoroughfare for trains until 1974, when a great fire twisted the tracks and ended its service as a rail line. From 1974 until the mid-2000s, the bridge sat dormant until the completion of a grassroots community campaign to adapt the structure into a pedestrian park led to the opening of Walkway Over the Hudson in 2009. To date, more than seven million people have visited to walk, run, bike, skate, stroll, and take in breathtaking, unobstructed 360-degree views of the Hudson River and its scenic surroundings. We can spend 1.5 hours on Walkway Over the Hudson after lunch. More info on: https://walkway.org/visit/DEPARTURE/RETURN SCHEDULE
