About us
(PLEASE POST AN IDENTIFIABLE PHOTO OF YOURSELF)
After successfully launching "NYC Active Asians Americans" group 3 weeks ago, I felt compelling to create a similar, but broadly based group. Hence, this group gets founded.
This group is aimed to provide a flatform to create active sport events for active fit young singles, mostly FREE or at a bargain group rate price. This group is for young single professionals to enjoy active, and adventurous activties in group setting and make friends in the process. The group has age range from 20s to 30s to keep this group active and strong. Exceptions will be given to those who can demonstrate some extraordinary athletic abilities.
The main activies include:
adventures, outdoor and sport activities, skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, alpine skiing, downhill skiing, figure skating, ice dancing, roller-blading/skating, badminton, table tennis (ping pong), archery, tennis, volleyball, swimming, biking, hiking, zip-Line, adventure courses, paintball, kayaking, bowling, fitness, gym, golf, fencing, whitewater rafting, camping, rock-climbing, sports and recreation, and more ...
Some more adventurous events to try:
sky-diving, scuba-diving, wave surfing, wind surfing, paragliding, parasailing, horse-back riding & etc. (will update this) ...
We will try to complement these events with breakfasts/lunches/dinners when possible. Hey, we all need energy to be active, right?
Occasionally, we can join some laid back events like museums, movies, concerts, clubings, karaoke, and travels etc so we can enjoy other aspects of life too.
So, all active singles, let's keep an active and healthy life style. Join this group and let's create fun active sporting events, and enjoy the life to its fullness together!!!
P.S. If you have ideas, discount info or tips, please post your ideas and vote for others' ideas.
Let's ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski, ski ......

Aug 21-23 Thousand Island, Howe Caverns & Green Lakes $289 (2 Nights)
Uncle Sam Boat Tours, 45 James Street, Alex Bay, NY, USTHOUSAND ISLANDS
The Thousand Islands (French: Mille-Îles, pronounced [mil il]) constitute a North American archipelago of 1,864 islands[1] that straddles the Canada–US border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles (80 km) downstream from Kingston, Ontario. The Canadian islands are in the province of Ontario and the U.S. islands in the state of New York.
The islands range in size from over 40 square miles (100 km2) to smaller islands occupied by a single residence, or uninhabited outcroppings of rocks. To count as one of the Thousand Islands, emergent land within the river channel must have at least one square foot (0.093 m2) of land above water level year-round, and support at least two living trees.[2][3] More on https://visit1000islands.com/###
GREEN LAKES STATE PARK
Green Lakes State Park is a New York State Park located east of Syracuse in the town of Manlius. The park is centered on two small meromictic lakes, Green Lake and Round Lake, which have an unusual blue-green color,[2] and preserves the largest stand of old growth forest in Central New York.[3] The lakes lie at the base of a gorge just over a mile long, both of which are remnants of the ice ages and exemplify the unusual geology of upstate New York. Green Lake has a surface area of 65 acres and a maximum depth of 195 feet. Round Lake has a surface area of 34 acres and a maximum depth of 170 feet.[4] More on https://parks.ny.gov/visit/state-parks/green-lakes-state-parkHOWE CAVERNS
Howe Caverns is a limestone solutional cave, operated as a show cave, in the hamlet of Howes Cave, Schoharie County, New York. Howe Caverns is a popular tourist attraction, providing visitors with a sense of caving or spelunking, without needing the advanced equipment and training usually associated with such adventures.
Traditional Cave Tours - Every tour of Howe Caverns begins with a 156 ft descent below the earth’s surface…
On your journey you will wind through limestone corridors, pass through cavernous galleries, walk under massive boulders, and take a serene boat ride on a subterranean riverbed carved over countless millennia. The cave is 52°F (11°C) so a jacket or sweatshirt and closed-toed comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Flip flops are NOT permitted in the cave. The cave tour consists of a 1.25 mile walk with a 0.25 mile boat ride. There are 139 stairs throughout the tour. More on https://howecaverns.com/LODGING

Eternal Flame Falls is a 30 ft high cascade in two segments. The top is a narrow cascade of nearly 8 ft high. The second tier spreads out more than twice the width as it cascades over shale. A small grotto to the right houses a natural gas spring that can be ignited to create a flame of 4-8 inches in height. Two small cascades (that really aren’t worth the effort to get to) can be found upstream from Eternal Flame.
