7 Adams - Unfussy Californian Class: Table for 6 (Deposit Required)

Details
7 Adams
7 Adams is a new-ish restaurant that warrents praise and definitely a visit from San Francisco Foodies. Pauline one of our most prolific diners during 2024 had this venue locked up. I'm making reservations with a small tribe to share the experience.
California Cuisine, meaning local food, cooked with the best methods from all over the world, in a comfortable environment. They have been awarded one Michelin Star and from all accounts are worth it.
There are three choices, 5 courses, 7 courses and a chef's table (only one per night and I'd have to move the reservation to 6:30p -- if that is available. Chef's table is $157 pp.)
Make a note in the comments which you prefer.
Reservations have a $87 no-show fee, so I will need that as a deposit before moving diners to going.
Also, they make a note about dietary restrictions.
We try to accommodate common dietary restrictions with our standard 5-course menu*, including vegetarian, gluten-free and restricted use of alliums. Please let your server know at the time of seating if you need accommodations. We do not provide a vegan offering and can not completely remove all use of allium from our menu.
Chefs: David Fischer and Serena Crow
History
There’s a sense of relief that comes through at buzzy San Francisco restaurant 7 Adams. Things seem more relaxed and fun, as if there’s a renewed sense of freedom.
Married couple and chefs David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher shocked the Bay Area dining scene when they abruptly left their Michelin-starred restaurant Marlena last summer, citing differences with the owner. The couple quickly returned months later with a new concept named 7 Adams, a reference to Fisher’s childhood home.
Frankly, 7 Adams is a much better restaurant. The food — from the moment the glistening rolls hit the table to the final spoons of ice cream — is sharper, and the general atmosphere feels less stuffy. from San Francisco Chronicle
Professional Review
In this city, finding a five-course menu for under a hundred dollars is a tall order. Chefs Serena and David Fisher make it seem effortless, though, bringing their signature magic to this second act in a sleek new space. The cuisine keeps an unfussy Californian simplicity, featuring solid technique and thoughtful flavor combinations that allow quality seasonal ingredients to shine. Think carefully shaped caramelle pasta that pairs a filling of sweet and nutty kabocha squash with buttery chanterelles, or crisp-skinned black cod with sunchoke confit and a finely tuned shellfish broth. Desserts never fail to end the meal on a strong note, as in a perfectly tender, moist apple crumb cake dressed up with an orange bay leaf ice cream and satsuma granita. from Michelin Guide

Taxes and Restaurant Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%) and probably an employee health mandate (3-10%), a tip (20%) may be automatically added, even on individual bills, if not we expect a 20% minimum tip to be paid for individual bills.
The host calculates each diner's orders separately unless they allow separate orders, separate checks and round the final payment up to the next dollar.
Each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs but we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly.
Please bring cash or have Zelle or Apple Cash available.
