This is a medium-level approximately 43km event for confident road riders.

In March 2014, the E.G. Waterhouse National Camellia Gardens was named by the International Camellia Society as an International Camellia Garden of Excellence. It is one of only forty International Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world and the only such garden in New South Wales.

Starting from the Discovery Point Village Square opposite Wolli Creek Station, we will be going over Captain Cook Bridge and traversing as many cyclepaths as we can. Ride concludes at Cahill Park, Wolli Creek.

50-minutes break once we reach the gardens for refreshments at The Jade Teahouse, and the appreciation of the abundant flora and fauna of the gardens.

Bring your roadworthy bike, a helmet, and water. Be Covid-safe and protect yourself from sun exposure.

Our member fee is a $4.99 donation, twice yearly. We use it to renew our Meetup subscription. You are welcome to try a ride before paying.
If you want to join any more rides after that, we will expect you to contribute a $4.99 fee. Once you’ve paid, you can join any ride matching your abilities, up to 5 December 2023, unless it is full. To pay, please RSVP yes to this event:
