The Spirit Garden revolves around the turtle sculpture and incorporates elements that represent First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultures, including a teaching lodge, amphitheatre, a Three Sisters teaching garden, Two Row Wampum (Kuswenta), Tree of Peace, a water feature, a Métis canoe and an Inuksuk. Then it's time to hit the ice, so to speak. We will take a few laps around the rink as we listen to music and take in the beauty of our city. You can rent skates for a fee Not being a skater, I will be nursing a hot chocolate and enjoying the action from the side lines.

In this book club, you read a book based on a theme and we all discuss the book each chose. If you just want to come out and join without reading a book that is perfectly fine. There is no theme for this month. The next meetup will be at Eggsmart at 1550 16th Avenue Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3K9. Scrumptious, the original location, is temporarily closed.
