Unete a nosotros y practica espanol!!! To help loosen the tongue đđđ, G Wine is offering us a happy hour deal where we get our second drink for free!
Necesitas saber al menos el presente de espanol. Other than that, just come and enjoy the wine and company đ. The event will be led by Patricia, a qualified Spanish teacher who offers regular morning conversation classes in the area. Some of you might already know her and indeed are having lessons with her. I am hoping to make this a regular event. For this first time, she will assess the different levels and decide the best way to go forward.
There will be a fee of âŹ10 plus âŹ2 Fluffy Tax. You will need to buy your own drinks. We need a minimum of 6 of us for this to go ahead. Please make sure you respond to my messages promptly or I will assume you have signed up by mistake and will not be attending.

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange
At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter.
This is the follow-up.
Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered â and honestly explore whatâs actually happening now.
Together, weâll explore:
⢠What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in
⢠Whatâs surprised you, supported you, or shifted
⢠What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know
If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote â your word, your artifact, your intention. Weâll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. Youâll start where we all started: with whatâs true right now.
Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, youâre warmly invited to bring it back.
The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
What to Expect
⢠A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup)
⢠Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak
⢠Reflection, listening, and lived experience â not advice-giving
⢠Optional creative reflection alongside conversation
⢠A calm, supportive environment
Who This Is For
Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change â especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords.
Good to Know
⢠No preparation required
⢠If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - itâs optional but invited
⢠Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome
⢠Creative activities are optional
Creativity Circle: Paper Flowers & Flower Crowns
**This monthâs Creativity Circle is very timely. We will be making our own craft snowflakes out of paper, coffee filters, popsicle sticks, sparkles and more! Bring the snowy season inside without the wet and cold. All ages welcome, show up as you can, bring a friend or a few if you would like to! Excited to see you there! Seats Limited. Held at the Westerville Public Library Meeting Room B.**
Shut Up & Write!ÂŽ East Side Columbus
Join us for an hour of writing! Weâve discovered that itâs strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if itâs true for you at 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 22 at Streetlight Guild.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
**SCHEDULE:**
6:45ish - Quick introductions
7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
8:00 - The End
**OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
**BEING LATE IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled! If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
Happy writing & I look forward to seeing you at Streetlight Guild!
**WHAT SHOULD I BRING?**
Whatever you need to be able to write! You're welcome to bring earplugs/headphones if noise will bother you!
**OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:**
* **RSVP:** Please RSVP by 6:00pm the evening of the meeting. This helps me know how many to expect, and if we'll need additional space!
* **COVID:** While masks are not required, please be mindful of the other writers around you and their comfort levels.
* **WIFI/OUTLETS:** Outlets are limited, so please ensure your devices are charged when you come! But Streetlight Guild does have free WiFi! Yay!
* **PARKING:** There is free public parking at Streetlight Guild.
