**📚 Let's meet for one last time for the year and discuss books and socialize. The meetup is a joint event hosted in association with Dubliners: Joys of Reading** The last meetup of the year is different! Bring a book wrapped in a gift cover(used or new book) or newspaper and discuss with the fellow book lovers about the theme of the book. Exchange the gift! You are allowed to share the theme of the book who likes it, then exchange the gift with the attendee. Then socialize! It's a perfect place to surprise fellow book lovers.

Join us for a relaxed post-Christmas daytime run, aiming for around 10km on grass and trails. Depending on numbers, we’ll look to split into pace groups of approximately 5:00/km, 5:30/km and 6:00/km. If the Visitor Centre café is open, we’ll stick around for a coffee afterwards.

Join us for an in-between, what day is it, swim! It's cold at the moment so don't stay in too long if you are not used to the cold water. Bring a hot drink and layers for afterwards. High tide is 1830 so we will have just enough water. Looking forward to seeing you there :-)

Hi All, this is a on lead walk with dogs of all ages and experience welcome. Many who attend are recently rescued and learning. Walk the lovely grounds and see the flowers and wildlife followed by coffee. There is a Fb page Sighthound Adventures Ireland and #dublinhoundwalks on Instagram. All Welcome.

New Year's Day Walk in Dublin City Centre. This walk will be the first of 2025 ! Starting 2025 with a fresh start by making new friends and connecting with eachother. This walk will start from SOUTH EAST ENTARANCE of St. Stephens Green. How to get there ? E1/E2, F1/2/3 and the LUAS brings you there, these are all suggestions how to get there. We will be meeting at 11:00, if you could arrive 5-10 minutes early that would be great! There is lots of Cafe choices around to get refreshments and snacks. Have a nice day everyone

Come join me in cleaning up litter in Kilbogget Park in South Dublin. I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and occasionally a dog (for morale). Feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Here's the plan: 1. Meet near the Playground by the Cafe/Seapoint Rugby Club at 10:00. I'll be standing in the area with a cart and dog, so should be easy to spot. 2. Collect litter along the path illustrated in the link below in the description. Note we will be going into the trees along the way. 3. Circle back to the starting point when finished. Note that we will walk in wet grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves. Please check weather before attending to ensure you're dress for it. Feel free to drop in or out at whatever time suits you. I'm typically out for an hour or two or until the area I'm focused on has been cleaned. There is a tesco and cafe near by, so feel free to leave the group for a break or coffee whenever suits. First Sundays are free admission at Franklin Park Conservatory. Sunday, January 4th, is also the last day The Palm House will be open before renovations begin. Let’s meet, enjoy a respite from January weather, and wander the gardens. Free neanthe bella palms are available to guests, beginning at 10am, while supplies last. Afterwards, we can visit the nearby East Market (212 Kelton Avenue).

Monday December 29th at 6PM we'll be meeting up dinner at the Pies & Pints at Easton. Feel free to bring guests. Sandwiches run about $15 and large pizzas run $20-30.
