Ma è davvero ancora così? Con l’arrivo dei Signals, l’evoluzione della template syntax e la rimozione progressiva di molte complessità storiche, Angular ha intrapreso una trasformazione profonda. Non solo nelle API, ma nel modo stesso in cui pensiamo e costruiamo applicazioni front-end. In questo talk metteremo Angular e React a confronto senza filtri, andando oltre le percezioni comuni e le narrative ormai datate. Parleremo di ciò che conta davvero nello sviluppo quotidiano: * modello mentale * gestione dello stato * flusso dei dati * prevedibilità del rendering * esperienza di sviluppo Vedremo come alcune scelte architetturali dell’Angular moderno possano portare a maggiore chiarezza, ridurre il carico cognitivo e rendere lo sviluppo più diretto e controllabile — fino al punto da ribaltare un’idea diffusa: oggi Angular può risultare più semplice di React, soprattutto in contesti reali e complessi. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure.
