(English below) Hoi allemaal! Dit jaar vieren wij samen Koningsdag 2026 bij de Nederlandse Kerk (Dutch Centre). Jullie kunnen een heerlijke sfeer, leuke spelen, lekker eten (uiteraard inclusief poffertjes) en veel meer verwachten! Wij zullen om 13.00 uur voor het Dutch Centre afspreken en dan het evenement genieten. Julllie kunnen daar zo lang blijven als julllie willen - er is geen bepaalde tijdsbeperking. Als het te druk is, kunnen wij misschien een dichtbijgelegene kroeg vinden om de dag gezelliger te vieren. Dit evenement is gratis, maar neem wel een beetje geld mee voor de leuke Nederlandse markt! Hello everyone! This year we are celebrating Koningsdag 2026 together at the Dutch Centre in London. You can expect a great atmosphere, fun games, tasty food (including poffertjes, of course) and plenty more! We will meet at the Dutch Centre at 1pm and then enjoy the event together. You may stay as long as you wish - there is no set timeframe. If it is too busy, we could find a nearby pub to enjoy the day in a more relaxed manner. This will encourage you to use new vocabulary and practise grammatical structures. The group has a limit of 25 people but I usually accept people if you are on the waiting list. You will be divided into groups of 3-6 with others of a similar speaking level so you'll have plenty of opportunity to talk and ask questions to your qualified, native teacher Jon. The lesson takes place in the relaxed environment of the Royal George basement which is a pleasant pub, a two-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station. The lesson is ideal for pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate students wishing to get to the next level.
