Would you enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow Science Fiction and Fantasy fans? If so, we’d love to meet you. Our next gathering takes place on **Saturday 25th April from 6pm** at **The Mad Hatter**, just by Blackfriars Bridge. Drop in, say hello, and join us for a drink. We’re a long‑running group that’s been meeting since **1998**—long before meetup sites existed. Over the years we’ve hosted celebrity meet‑and‑greets, attended conventions together, run role‑playing games, organised cinema trips, LARPs, and plenty more. Join us for our monthly series where **Offline Women Explore the Royal Parks**, visiting one of the eight different royal parks each month. The third walk in this series will be through **Richmond Park.** This is a dedicated, phone-free, quiet space where you can disconnect from digital distractions and reconnect with nature and each other. Join our warm community of women for an afternoon walk through the Richmond Park. We will spend our time wandering the paths at a slow pace, taking in the fresh air and the views. It is a simple way to enjoy the park and engage in real conversation. We will have plenty of time to talk, share stories, and get to know one another without any digital interruptions. We'll start our walk in Petersfield and head north to follow part of the 34 km (21 mile) Hangers Way - a long distance path less travelled within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The countryside around here is unspoilt and forlorn, and we'll meet only a few locals out for a walk with their dogs. In our first hour, we will be rewarded with fantastic views from Shoulder of Mutton Hill as we continue through forested slopes and over open fields towards Liss and then onto Liphook via a nice lunchtime pub stop (for drinks only). After Liss, we will walk down Shipwrights Way to Longmore and Weavers Down, an army managed access land which is eerily remote and wild with a range of different flora, shrubs and trees. We will then walk on the Sussex Border Path and continue to Liphook, where we will reward ourselves with a pub stop. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now.
