Come the whole time or if you just spend 30 minutes. All are welcome. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own coloring supplies but, if you don't have any, I will have plenty and am happy to share! (coloring books, colored pencils, and markers). Part of the mission of this group is to provide us an opportunity to check out AND SUPPORT local businesses. This in person meeting is for members interested in the upcoming Social Sips & Bites New York City trip. We will review the itinerary, travel plans, lodging approach, and expectations for the trip. This meeting is intended to answer questions and confirm interest. Attendance is optional but recommended for those considering joining the NYC trip. Join us for our weekly riichi mahjong meetup! It is highly encouraged to make a purchase of food or drink at the Whole Foods while playing there. We play on the second floor of the Whole Foods in a bar area called The High Point, There is parking for $5 on the weekends at The Boro Garage B. Do not use the whole foods parking lot since it gets up to $25.

Brazilian culture is alive in DC. Forro and Samba are two of Brazil's favorite rhythms. This fundraiser brings them together for a good cause. Whether your new or seasoned join this welcoming community for dancing, singing, and mingle too. $12 Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Afro Bahia Fest and local Brazilian cultural organizations.

We had a wonderful time together in November and December at this restaurant, so let's do it again! We already have 9 women signed up with FFF>50 on the Mighty Networks platform, but I'm putting it out here too, hope you can join us (we'll create two or more tables if necessary!). Join us at the highly rated CIRCA restaurant just steps from the Foggy Bottom metro station. We'll sit on the covered patio, which has overhead heaters and plastic window covers so it should be comfortable, and it's quieter for conversation than the indoor space. Enjoy small plates, a full meal, salads, cocktails, beer on tap or whatever you'd like best on a Sunday afternoon. We play a variety of games with a focus on high interaction Euros. Events will start with quick games while people arrive and eat lunch. We will start longer games between 1:30pm and 2pm. While the official end time is 5pm, people are welcome to continue playing games afterwards. Western Market closes at 7pm on Sundays. Ladies! Join us for a cozy winter afternoon of board games and hot chocolate at my sister Cat's place in Annapolis. We'll have a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings--bring your own cookie to crush as a topping if you'd like! (Please no peanuts or tree nuts.) You are welcome to order sunday dinner entrees\, too\. **What is National meatball day?** * Whether you prefer the classic spaghetti and meatballs, or just love to pick up a meatball sub for lunch, you are sure to want to celebrate National Meatball Day on March 9 . We may never know who invented National Meatball Day because there are no records of this unofficial holiday being created. But whoever did it was definitely onto something.
