WRITE CLUB: one hour of silent writing (or reading) in the company of others
The first rule of WRITE CLUB is that you do not talk ***during*** WRITE CLUB.
This very simple meetup is based on the premise that public and peer accountability enables more productive writing than sitting at home and getting distracted by the fridge.

Guests alternate between the lanes in mixed groups of guys and girls for an action-packed game of bowling designed to break the ice, get the conversation flowing, and become acquainted with your fellow teammates. While not bowling, you will have the chance to socialise more widely as our host is on-hand to make introductions to all other guests.
At the end of the games, we will tot-up the scores and announce our King- or Queen-pin of the evening. However, if previous events are anything to go by, everyoneās a winner at this great fun evening.

The sun is out, the evenings are longer, and we thought what better way to spend a May evening than slowing down together in one of London's most beautiful parks.

**How to play rounders**

Rounders is a bat and ball game similar to baseball played by two teams. Your team will be either fielding or batting before swapping after the innings. When batting, the aim is to hit the ball, then try and run around the four posts. Your team gets a rounder if you make it round the four posts without stopping or getting out. You are out if when you hit the ball someone catches the ball before it reaches the ground or someone stumps a post before you get there.
The rules will be explained at the beginning of each meetup with a practice round at the beginning. We play a slightly modified version of the official rules where if you are out, it's not game over for you. Your team will lose a life instead. This will give everyone multiple opportunities to bat.
**It's very simple to pick up and the ball we use is very soft. We are very beginner friendly and the focus is on having fun rather than being competitive**. We attract attendees of all ages and sporting level. You are welcome to come and watch only too. We usually have a few people who do so while having a picnic and enjoying the park.

**Football**
For mixed gender football we aim to have roughly equal numbers of men and women and 3 ability levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced). There may be limited spaces for men for football as we are always oversubscribed.
**Free or play for charity**
Our Sunday social and rounders events are free for everyone. The organisers volunteer their time and fund for the equipment, public liability insurance, marketing and meetup costs to make this happen. We would like our events to raise awareness and money for worthwhile charities.

The **Queenās Rise Circle Survivor Check-In** is a gentle, bi-weekly gathering created for women healing from narcissistic, emotionally harmful, or difficult relationships.
This is not therapy or a formal workshop. It is a supportive community space where survivors can come exactly as they are. Some weeks you may want to share. Other weeks you may simply listen. Both are welcome here.
Together, we focus on small steps forward, emotional grounding, and rebuilding confidence in a safe and respectful environment.
This space is survivor-led and trauma-aware, grounded in empathy, respect, and confidentiality.
### Who this is for
This check-in is suitable for anyone who:
⢠Is healing after a narcissistic or toxic relationship
⢠Feels emotionally overwhelmed or isolated
⢠Wants connection without pressure or judgement
⢠Is looking for consistent, gentle support between workshops or coaching
You do **not** need to be at a particular stage of healing to attend.

This is an RfR-wide event, not tied to any particular local chapter.
The Virtual Chapter Recovering From Religion support group will meet the the 1st Sunday of each month at 6 PM Central Time AS WELL AS at the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9 AM. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. Attendees are welcome to share, but may also decide to remain anonymous if they so choose.
The primary focus of a Recovering From Religion support group is to provide ongoing and personal support to individuals as they let go of their religious beliefs. This transitional period is an ongoing process that can result in a range of emotions, as well as a ripple effect of consequences throughout an individualās life. As such, the support meetings are safe and anonymous places to express these doubts, fears, and experiences without biased feedback or proselytizing.
We are here to help each other through this journey.

This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to āpin the blameā on someone or something. If you donāt find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
