We will meet in Wimbledon Village outside the Rose & Crown. We will walk through Wimbledon Common to Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park for the beautiful spring flowers (Rhododendron, Azaleas, Camelias and Bluebells) and then stop for a drink in the Rose and Crown at the end. **About the group** No dogs. No children. This is a **SOCIAL WALKING FOR FITNESS** group for people who want to walk with a small friendly group along the River Thames, the Grand Union Canal and through the London Parks. We walk at a moderate pace of **3 miles** an hour. We will stop at a pub at the end of the walk for those that want to socialise further. As well as the London walks, we organise pub quizzes, cheesy disco nights and hiking weekends away in the Lakes and Peaks and hiking trips in Europe (Camino Portugues, Camino Frances and the Lycian Way). **Walking and talking are great for your physical and mental health and a great way to make new friend** By RSVPing to this event you accept that the group doesn't have any liability. Hi Everyone, The next **Street Hypnosis/Mentalism Group** will be on **Saturday 18th April 1-5pm** As usual, it will be at **The Festival Hall (in the Southbank Centre)** which is less than 10 minutes walk from Waterloo Station. We are located in the Seventy5th Bar on the fifth floor. We will be at the far end - look out for the notice on the table, or call me 07742 542101. You can come along at any time. Many of you have previously attended various courses on hypnosis or specifically street hypnosis. This is a great opportunity to actually practice these skills - whether they are rapid or shock inductions or Mentalism type stuff. We may go out some point and involve members of the public. I am happy to lead on this. Part of the art is knowing who to approach (or not) and what to actually do when you get there. This group is also open to people who are generally interested in this aspect of hypnosis or Mentalism generally - think Derren Brown type effects. We can give you advice and hopefully, point you in the right direction re courses etc if you want to learn some of this stuff. Learn something, share something. Practice in safety and gain confidence. We cover all aspects of street, stage and party hypnosis. Have an idea of the suggestibility tests or something else you want to practice, as well as some Rapid Inductions. Also, think of a short 5 -10 minute 'routine' to use with people. All levels are welcome so don't be shy. We ask for a small fee of £5 on the day, this is purely to help pay our meetup fees. Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social. Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier.
