The last planetarium event went so well let's see a different show. This one is called Stars Tonight. The show starts at 7:30 but let's meet up at Tortas Y Tacos La Chiquita lll in Arlington beforehand. It isn’t Star Wars themed but that won’t stop us from celebrating Star Wars Day. Free Parking: I attached a picture of a map that shows where some free street parking is. * N Nelson St on the East side of Quincy Park * N Stafford St on the West Side of Washington-Liberty High School * There are a few free street parking spots on N Quincy St across from the planetarium * In addition, the planetarium has a parking lot Metro is also an option. Join Flurut for their debut concert - a vibrant evening of music and dance from the heart of Jämtland, Sweden! Free drum jam in a beautiful park, welcoming community. We start at 6:30 and jam until 9:30 at latest, the park closes at 10:00. Please bring a chair or stool to sit on. It's a short walk across the bridge from the parking lot and the whole area is well lit after dark. Park near the large, white restroom building. We always have first timers as well as regulars and we all have fun drumming together. Bring your drum if you have one. We’re bringing back Adult Field Day. Last year was a good mix of competition and just hanging out, so we’re doing it again with some new games mixed in. Think team-based challenges, simple races, and a few things inspired by game shows. You don’t need to be athletic. Most of the fun is just being part of a team and getting to know people you wouldn’t normally talk to. The goal isn’t really winning. It’s meeting people, laughing a bit, and leaving knowing a few more names than when you showed up. If you stick around after, we’ll have a potluck cookout.
