Life drawing classes tend to involve short poses which seldom allow time for painters to adjust their paintings sufficiently. In this class we will work with a life model who will take a single pose for the two hours each week, giving us more time to adjust and correct our paintings. Artists of all levels are welcome to attend, but this is a self directed class and no tuition will normally be given. Please bring your own water-based painting material such as acrylics, gouache or watercolours as the room is not equipped for oil-based paints. There is a sink in the kitchen adjoining the studio room where water can be obtained. The two hour session will start at 2.30pm and end at 4.30pm with a 15 minute tea break at 3.30pm. However, there are those who have hope and faith in science that some can survive the polycrisis and get to live in a sustainable society and planet. This group is all about improving football skills, staying active, and meeting people who enjoy the game. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced player, the goal is to create a fun and supportive environment where everyone can develop their technique, fitness, and confidence on the ball. Who are you hoping to meet? I’m hoping to meet friendly and motivated football lovers who want to train regularly, improve together, and enjoy the social side of the sport. All skill levels are welcome — the focus is on learning, teamwork, and having fun. What will we do at the event? Each session will include football training drills and small practice games focused on: Shooting practice Passing drills Dribbling exercises Ball control and movement Fitness and agility work Small-sided matches when possible The sessions will be relaxed, energetic, and designed to help everyone improve while enjoying the game.

**Hunters Badminton club are a league standard badminton club. We have the use of four courts at the sports hall of the Harris Academy, Lambs Lane, Rainham. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE SUMMER EXAMS WE WILL BE MOVING FROM TUESDAY 5th May to Tuesday 30th June. Our new location will be the sports hall of the Harris Academy Ockendon and Sixth Form, Erriff Drive, South Ockendon RM15 5AY. We have players from intermediate to league standard and usually have between 20 and 28 members every Tuesday evening. We play mainly doubles and have a mix of male and female players. We have space available for up to 6 extra guests per night. If you want a competitive friendly club come give us a try.
