Stradbroke is an unspoiled, natural paradise, of beaches, bushland and
waterways; teeming with Australian flora and fauna. There is an
abundance of Indigenous culture to be found as well - the Quandamooka people being the traditional owners. To make this day a bit more social, and encourage people interacting, we’ve organised a scavenger hunt where you’ll have to tick things off your list such as being in a photo with a kangaroo in the background, or finding someone with the same star sign as you.

Once on Stradbroke we’ll first stop at Amity point and the beautiful view there to Moreton Island and back to the mainland. The next stop is Point Lookout itself, home to an incredible cliff side walk, with many memorable photo opportunities at hand. As this is the season for them migrating northward – you may be lucky enough to spot a whale here too, as well as kangaroos, turtles and koalas.

After lunch at the Beach Hotel at Point Lookout, in the afternoon we’ll be at patrolled Cylinder Beach, where you can go for a swim or laze on the beach.

The last stop of the day, before the ferry back home, will be an amazing rooftop bar that has recently opened at Dunwich, with incredible views back to Brisbane.

To get to Stradbroke in the morning, we catch the ferry from Cleveland (the bus boards the ferry). The ferry has a cafe on board so
you’ll be able to fuel up there if you missed breakfast.

Please be on time for the bus in the morning. We can’t wait – the ferry won’t wait for us!
