Please meet us at the corner of Glendower and Palmerston Street for a leisurely 3-lap stroll around the lakes, followed by a coffee catch-up at BOOtoo Cafe or the Meeting Place.

Author Your Bestseller

Not sure where to start? Have you started a book but have been unable to finish it? Got ‘writer’s block’? Want to discuss your ideas or difficulties in an encouraging, creative and supportive setting? Want to share your writing experiences (good or bad) to help others, and in doing so, fuel your own creativity?
Author Your Bestseller is a group about encouraging and supporting anyone interested in writing fiction or non-fiction by facilitating the sharing of participants’ ideas, learnings and resource knowledge with the group, enabling you to author your bestseller.
Your Host
Alistair was born into a Eurasian family in India but grew up in Australia. He has post-graduate degrees in psychology and business communication. He has had two non-fiction books published about spirituality, and his third book is a novel called, ‘Circadian Web’, that was released world-wide by his UK-based publisher in 2025 (view the Youtube book trailer here: https://tinyurl.com/5fnrazsv ).
He has been interviewed by podcasters in the US, Canada, Australia and UK about his books.
Format
1:15pm – Arrive (feel free to bring your tea/coffee/muffin)
1:30pm – 1:45pm. Participants introduce themselves, their writing journeys (if any) and what they are hoping to get from the session.
1:45pm – 1:50pm. Participants agree on one or more topics for the session. Feel free to post your topic suggestions in the comments below prior to the meetup.
1:50pm – 2:50pm. Alistair facilitates a group discussion on agreed topic(s).
2:50pm – 3:00pm. General Q&A and feedback on the session.
