What we’re about
Motorcycle Touring Riders of Albuquerque (MTRA) is a community of motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to adventure, camaraderie, and safe riding. Our mission is to create a welcoming and structured environment where riders can enjoy memorable journeys, explore scenic destinations, and ride with confidence and predictability.
MTRA offers a full calendar of group rides throughout the year, along with monthly informational meetings and three annual educational courses—Group Riding, Crash Scene Response, and Road Captain Training—held in January, February, and March. These programs are designed to promote safety, preparedness, and leadership on the road, ensuring a fun and worry-free riding experience for all.

Membership Requirements:
- Annual dues: $10 for individuals / $15 for families (collected at your first attended event)
- A photo of you with your bike
- A completed membership questionnaire
- A signed Release of Liability form
- Approval by an MTRA Organizer
