Historic El Rancho Hotel – Gallup Ride

We’ll gather bright and early at the Warrior Fuel Stop, 1005 US-550, Bernalillo, NM 87004 at 7:30 AM. Pre-ride briefing will be at 7:45 AM, with KSU (Kick Stands Up) promptly at 8:00 AM. As always, show up with a full tank of gas—your bike runs better when it’s not running on fumes.
Our first fuel stop will be in Torreon, NM (65 miles in) because after that, it’s a long stretch of beautiful New Mexico Indian Territory until Gallup. From Torreon, we’ll cruise to Crownpoint for a quick rest stop (67 miles), stretch our legs, and compare bug splatters.
From there, it’s on to Gallup and the Historic El Rancho Hotel for lunch. After a good meal and a little old-Hollywood nostalgia, we’ll fuel up again before heading home via I-40.
For those with a sweet tooth—or who believe ice cream is a vital post-ride recovery food—we’ll make a final stop at the DQ at the 66 Casino. Calories consumed on a motorcycle ride don’t count… or so we’ve been told.
