You've been reading the Hacker News posts and the Medium articles about agentic engineering, but how do you actually get started on your own projects?

What you haven't had is two hours to focus on it, using a method that's already been tried on real client work.

That's what this session is. Eight steps that take you from a good developer to an expert one. You'll step away from your desk and use them to finish a wedding planner product we're currently developing.

Your first job is to work out what's already finished, what "done" looks like, and where your real starting point is. Then get it over the line.

Working with peers, you’ll finish the product and enhance it: plan the seating, keep feuding relatives apart and couples together, handle dietary requirements, respect top-table protocol, and make sure there isn't a spare chair in the room.

You'll walk away with:

Because the real skill in agentic engineering isn't writing code faster. It's what you do with the time you get back. Less time typing means more time thinking - interrogating the problem, questioning your assumptions, and getting the brief right before you set a team of agents loose. Get that wrong and you just build the wrong thing faster.
