Join us in sacred community for a heartfelt, traditional celebration of Yemaya and Oshun, two powerful Orishas of the Yoruba spiritual tradition. This special gathering honors the divine forces of saltwater and sweetwater, motherhood and sensuality, nurturing and joy — the sacred feminine in her many forms.
Together, we will:✨ Open with a prayer and offering of gratitude🗣️ Share Oríkì (Yoruba praise poetry) for Yemaya and Oshun💧 Perform a Salt & Sweet Water Blessing Ritual🌼 Build a shared altar with flowers, water, and symbolic gifts🥁 Join in a community drumming circle and movement offering🍲 Break bread together with a shared meal in love and unity
This gathering centers tradition, respect, and connection to the ancestral ways of honoring the Orishas. All are welcome — please bring an open heart, something for the altar, and food or drink to share if you are able. You are also welcome to dress in Yellows/golds, Blues, Whites etc if you'd like!
