Therapeutic tarot: Tarot For The Healing Heart Series, Part 1

This is the first session in a guided tarot healing series based on Tarot for the Healing Heart by Christine Jette, a registered nurse, tarot consultant, and author.

This is a therapeutic, reflective tarot session focused on healing the body–mind–spirit connection. Rather than prediction, tarot is used here as a “mirror for awareness, emotional processing, and personal insight”.

In this opening session, we will work through Chapter 1 through the first half of Chapter 3 (up to page 36) of the book, combining gentle teaching with experiential practices to support self-healing.

What We’ll Explore

This session draws directly from Christine Jette’s framework, including:

• Understanding healing as a holistic process (physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual)
• Tarot as a reflective tool rather than “good” or “bad” outcomes
• Creating sacred space and intention for healing
• Listening to the body and heart as messengers

Session will include a learning lecture, a breathing exercise, a meditation and/or tarot spread.

You are welcome to observe, participate quietly, or actively engage. There is no pressure to share.

What to Bring

• A tarot deck (any deck is fine; Rider–Waite style works well but is not required)
• An open, curious mindset
