What we’re about
This is a SOCIAL GROUP - We aim to stamp out Social Isolation, to give people a dynamic and positive place to connect with like minded people. The group is founded on MUTUAL respect and with the intention of making new friends.
We welcome mature adults of all ages. Photo walks, hikes and art events are open to all ages. Most of our other events such as brunches etc will be predominately 40+ or 50+.
We are not a business networking group. We ask that members refrain from promoting products or services to other members. This is not a business networking group. This is SOCIAL only.
We are a sister group to Second Wind Events and some events will be merged to help fill events to make events more enjoyable.

Members attend events at their own discretion. By attending you assume full responsibility for your personal safety and well-being, both during and after the event. Please drink responsibly. Do not Drink and Drive.
The host/group/organizer(s) are hereby released from any and all liabilities, obligations, and responsibilities towards attendees, both now and in perpetuity.

Affordable Brunch - at The Hideout Diner
Indeed is a little hidden away but is another one of those affordable bunch finds. (Near Home Depot)
Featuring a wide variety of Brunch items and Lunch items with Italian - Greek influences.
Apparently portions are LARGE....and prices seem reasonable. Maybe another one of THOSE places. LOL
THE SCRAMBLER 14.99
Choice of lamb sausage, bacon or ham ,3 eggs scrambled with peppers, onions and mushrooms. Topped with melted cheddar cheese and hashbrowns.
WAFFLES 13.50
2 thick Belgium waffles, fresh fruit, maple syrup, and whipped cream.
Their post online says "We serve breakfast and lunch inspired by Greek and Italian cuisine. NOTE: On weekends and holidays, please enter 101 on the keypad located near the front gate to enter the restaurant. You may also enter through the small gate located between Home Depot parking lot and the Hide Out Diner restaurant."THIS is a bit of a walk from Skytrain but well worth it.
