I’m Pete Davey, a Nordic walking Instructor, I instruct groups and one-on-one for likeminded people, people who like me enjoy the great outdoors and general good health and fitness. Nordic walking is unique in that you are walking with specially designed poles which can provide you with full body exercise plus many other benefits for those who practice it correctly no matter what age, or health condition. Nordic walking provides a low impact exercise but achieves high results for improving stamina, body and mind fitness. and overall general health. Nordic walking uses most of all the major muscle groups in the body, plus, you can use up to 40% more calories than with ordinary walking, so together with a good and well-balanced diet it can be very effective as a means to weight loss. Nordic walking is also a very social activity when you walk with a group of, as I say, likeminded people.
