Svelte (syn. slender, flexible, https://svelte.dev/) has been getting a lot of attention lately and positions itself as a true alternative to React, Vue, and co. Even though it follows the component-based paradigm just like those, there is something radically different about it: Svelte compiles your components to plain JavaScript, so that no framework code is shipped to the client at run-time. This talk gives an introduction to Svelte and compares it to the existing players.

Being the Product Manager or lead of a product team doesn't mean you are now there to make the decisions but to help the team learn how to better and faster make them and facilitate decision making. In this presentation, I talk a bit about what I have tried, what worked and what didn't when trying to help teams achieve this autonomy.
Alex is a seasoned product manager currently working at trivago. He has worked on or built advertising products, online services, mobile apps and games and physical, educational and travel products. He's also had the chance to experience working at companies with 2, 20, 200 and over 1000 employees with cross-functional and diverse teams.
