Philadelphia Roundtable (and Happy Hour!) - Ownership

It's summertime and everyone is ready to get out of the house, so why not get together for an in-person roundtable in Philly! This is a great opportunity to meet other engineering leaders in our tech community, and spend some time getting nerdy about the craft of leading engineering teams.

This time around we'll be talking about ownership. We might chat about how to frame ownership to your team and how to get engineers to act like owners. We might also talk more strategic "ownership" questions like how to structure teams and how to handle messy grey areas in ownership models.

As usual, we'll start by soliciting specific discussion topics, so everyone should come prepared with a question, upcoming challenge, or a challenge that they've solved in the past. The month's topic is meant to be a springboard, but anyone can bring a pressing topic if it yields an interesting discussion.

Drinks and dinner will be provided so that we're fully fueled up and ready to think and discuss. We'll spend the first 15 minutes having a bite to eat and saying hello. For those interested, some of us will grab a drink afterward nearby to continue the conversation.
