VIRTUAL EVENT: "Managing in Uncertainty" Fireside-chat and Q&A w/ Lara Hogan

Details
Wow, these last few weeks have been crazy. Between Coronavirus and earthquakes, our awesome tech community has been rattled (gallows humor pun intended).
These can be extremely trying times for even the most seasoned managers and leaders. How do you approach trying to be a supportive manager? Where do you even begin?
We're going to have our first virtual event, supporting our state and federal guidelines on social distancing and doing our part to flatten the curve.
Because it is virtual, we will have a special guest, Lara Hogan, Trainer and Coach, have a fireside chat with us and do a Q&A. She has a wealth of experience in coaching managers through a myriad of situations and challenges.
Come join us virtually and bring your questions. If you're unable to attend, feel free to email me (justin AT justincarmony DOT com) with your questions with a subject line of "Question for Meetup" and I'll try to include them.
We're in this all together.
Agenda
6:30 PM - Virtual Meet & Greet
6:45 PM - "Managing in Uncertainty" Fireside Chat, Q&A w/ Lara Hogan
8:00 PM - Shoot the breeze / catch up virtually
Details for Virtual Event
WE WILL SEND AN EMAIL THROUGH MEETUP 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT WITH A LINK TO JOIN. We will be using Zoom.
About Lara Hogan
Lara is an author, public speaker, and coach for managers and leaders across the tech industry. As a founder of Wherewithall, Lara and her team run workshops, roundtables, and trainings on core management skills like delivering great feedback and setting clear expectations. Before Wherewithall, Lara spent a decade growing emerging leaders as the VP of Engineering at Kickstarter and an Engineering Director at Etsy. She champions management as a practice, building fast websites, and celebrating your achievements with donuts (and sometimes sushi). Her latest book, Resilient Management, is here to help those who find themselves responsible for supporting a team of people.
Note on the Previous Event: Mary and I will still do our "Disrupting Bias in Feedback" presentation in the future, so don't worry, we'll schedule it after all this craziness has calmed down!
