Staff Engineers, typically one level beyond the 'senior' or 'career' level, have an outsized impact on product, infrastructure, and technology of an organization. While their impact can be significant, it can be challenging to grow engineers to this level and successfully support them as high level individual contributors.
As this meetup, we'll discuss approaches, frameworks, and learnings from various engineering leaders on how they've approached growing and managing staff engineers.
We'll have a few short lightning talks, followed by a moderated small group discussions, and plenty of time for networking. Plus, we’ll be serving food and drinks to keep the conversation flowing.
